Dating: Is It a Counter-Human Behavior?
I suddenly realized a very realistic phenomenon: when I'm single, life is actually quite comfortable. With a monthly income of seven or eight thousand, I have no financial pressure, and I can even save three thousand each month. From this perspective, my life seems to be quite comfortable, with no excessive financial stress, and I can still enjoy life with some leftover money.
However, once I start dating, problems start to emerge one after another. Dining, dates, gifts, travel, and the future... I used to think that seven or eight thousand was enough, but suddenly I feel that without three thousand a month, life is unbearable. My mindset seems to have changed, and I'm no longer the person who only cares about earning and saving money.
I've started to think that dating is a strange thing. Why does the life of two people have to be so expensive? Why do we need to spend so much money to maintain a relationship? I've begun to wonder if men and women living together is counter-human behavior.
I know this question may spark a lot of controversy. Some people may say that dating is the most wonderful thing in life, worth spending money and energy on. Others may say that dating is the most important thing in life, worth sacrificing something for happiness.
But for me, I've started to think that dating might be something unrealistic. It requires too much money and energy, too many sacrifices and compromises. It may bring happiness, but it also brings a lot of stress and trouble.
I don't know if I'm being too realistic. Maybe I just need to find a suitable partner, someone who understands and supports me. Maybe I just need to adjust my mindset and learn to enjoy the dating process, rather than always worrying about money and the future.
