The 'Hero' and 'Joke' in the Gym
In the gym, there are always unexpected moments. My girlfriend was doing squats, and the coach was standing behind her, pretending to support her. As a caring boyfriend, I couldn't just stand by and do nothing. So I ran over to the coach and said, 'Brother, this weight is too heavy for her, it's easy to get injured, let me protect her instead.'
The coach looked at my slender physique and said disdainfully, 'Do you know what core strength is? This posture is all wrong, it's a waste of your waist!' I pushed him away, unwilling to give in, and personally took over supporting my girlfriend. As a result, my girlfriend suddenly stood up and sent me flying two meters away. The coach rushed over to help me up, saying, 'I told you this move would hurt your waist, but you didn't believe me. Did you secretly stay up all night playing games again? You're so weak!'
I smiled awkwardly, thinking to myself: I'm still that 'strong'. But at the same time, I wondered why the coach would say that. Was it really because I secretly stayed up all night playing games again? Or is it that many people are like me, always neglecting their own bodies until they get hurt and regret it?
I think this might be a common problem for many people. We always neglect our own bodies until we get hurt and regret it. So, the 'hero' and 'joke' in the gym are actually the same person β ourselves. We need to take better care of our bodies and pay more attention to our health.
