Merchant's Unscrupulous Behavior: Using Live Streaming to Sell Counterfeits, How Can Consumers Protect Themselves?
Recently, I've discovered some merchants using live streaming to sell counterfeit goods, and it's simply unbelievable. They invite some pretty girls to sell USB drives in the live streaming room, claiming they contain everything you want, for just 9.9 yuan. However, when consumers receive the goods, they find inside a recording of the news broadcast.
This behavior is utterly shameless. Not only do the merchants deceive consumers, but they also use the return policy to scam money. They set the return address in a remote area of Xinjiang, with a return fee of 25 yuan, making it impossible to return the goods. It's said that they can sell millions of yuan worth of goods per month, which is a genius level of shamelessness.
So, how can consumers protect themselves? First, we must be vigilant and not blindly trust merchants' advertisements. Second, we need to carefully read reviews and return policies to avoid being scammed. Finally, we need to actively safeguard our rights and file complaints in a timely manner if we encounter any problems.
In short, we cannot tolerate merchants' shameless behavior. We need to unite and protect our rights, and not let these shameless merchants continue to deceive consumers.
