The Censorship Conundrum on Social Media: A Creator's Survival Guide
I knew it, damn it, I just posted this article and now my creator earnings are gone. This seems to be happening more and more often, especially in recent years, as social media platforms' censorship policies have become increasingly strict.
As a creator, I know this feeling all too well. When your work gets banned, it's not just about losing traffic and income, it's a blow to your creative passion.
I deleted the controversial post, hoping to avoid more trouble. Now X is becoming more and more like Little Red Book, with the shadow of censorship looming everywhere.
I'm starting to wonder, what's the original intention of social media platforms? Is it to promote creation and communication, or to maintain some kind of power and interest?
As creators, how do we survive in this environment? Should we keep creating, or quietly conform?
