Growing up, I knew I had to work hard. As a left-behind child, I spent my childhood with my grandparents in our hometown in Sichuan. My parents' preference for my brother over me meant that we had vastly different living environments. I remember starting to work during summer and winter breaks from middle school to earn money for tuition and living expenses. In college, I chose to major in medicine, hoping to change my fate through my own efforts. When my father had an accident, I almost had to drop out of school. But I didn't give up. I continued to study hard and learn about medicine. Now, I've graduated with a degree in medicine, and I'm proud of my achievements. My experiences have taught me that hard work and perseverance can overcome any obstacle. No matter what our childhood environment is like, we can create our own beautiful lives through our own efforts.
