Is the Company's Feng Shui Really That Bad? Is This Really the Reason for Quitting?
Some time ago, a 2002-born female colleague suddenly quit, citing the reason that her family had her fortune told, saying that the company's feng shui was bad and would bring her bad luck.
I was taken aback when I heard this reason, wondering if there really were so many people who believed in feng shui. Or was this just an excuse?
I started thinking back to my interactions with her at the company, and I felt that she was a very outgoing and positive person who took her work very seriously. But since she chose to quit, she must have had her reasons.
I began to ponder, was it really the bad feng shui, the company's work environment, or personal reasons? Was there something in our company that made employees feel uncomfortable?
I think everyone's choices have their reasons, maybe it's the result of multiple factors intertwined. Perhaps we can learn something from this, how to make our work environment more comfortable, how to make employees feel more satisfied.
But at the same time, I was thinking, can feng shui really be a reason for quitting? Or is this just a modern person's interpretation of their own choices?
