A Shanghai Girl's Journey to Success: From Left-Behind Child to Medical Professional
I'm a 30-year-old girl from Shanghai, originally from Sichuan. My upbringing was unconventional - I was a left-behind child, raised by my grandparents from a young age. Despite my parents' absence, I showed remarkable resilience and independence from an early age. I have a younger brother, but my parents clearly favored him, never offering him any support.
I started working part-time during summer and winter breaks from middle school to save up for tuition and living expenses. I was a diligent student! I studied medicine in college and acquired some medical knowledge. However, my father's accident during my university days almost derailed my education. Yet, I refused to give up. I persisted in pursuing my dreams, worked hard, and eventually graduated.
Now, I'd like to share my story, hoping to inspire and empower others. Regardless of our backgrounds or experiences, we all have the capacity to change our fate. We must bravely face challenges, stay committed to our dreams, and strive to succeed.
