Paid Consulting: A Normal Choice or an Awkward Situation?
Recently, I've come across some friends who expressed their opinions on paid consulting on social media. Some people think that paid consulting is completely normal, even a given. They believe that if you want to get professional advice or services, you should be willing to pay for it. And that's not a problem, after all, consulting is a valuable service.
However, there are also people who think that paid consulting is an awkward situation. They feel that if you need to pay to get someone's help, then that help isn't worth trusting. They believe that true friends or professionals should provide help for free. This perspective also has its reasons, because we do need to build real connections and trust on social media.
I want to say that paid consulting isn't a simple right or wrong issue. It depends on individual perspectives and needs. If you think paid consulting is normal, then you should feel free to choose this way. If you think paid consulting is awkward, then you can also choose to stop communicating. The key is, we need to respect each other's choices and boundaries.
On social media, we often encounter various opinions and views. We need to learn how to respect and understand different opinions, even those we don't agree with. Paid consulting is just an example, we need to build deeper connections and conversations on social media.
