Are Women Always Right? My Strange Experience in Myanmar
I still remember the day I shared a post about feminism on social media, which sparked a lot of controversy. Some people supported me, while others opposed me. But what surprised me was that my friends in Myanmar almost unanimously thought I was wrong.
I started thinking, why was this the case? Was the culture and values of Myanmar really that different from other places? Or was this just my friends' personal opinions?
After some reflection, I realized that in many cases, women are indeed considered to be right. Whether it's in the family, at work, or in society, women are often seen as more patient, responsible, and compassionate.
But does this mean that women are always right? I don't think the answer is that simple. In Myanmar, I saw men who were also patient, responsible, and compassionate. At the same time, I also saw women who weren't always right.
So, I started to wonder, are women always right just because we're used to thinking that way? Or should we look at things more objectively, rather than always assuming women are right?
My experience in Myanmar made me start thinking about these questions. Maybe the answer isn't simple, but I believe that through more reflection and discussion, we can find the answer.
