I once encountered such an idiot who still believes to this day that I'm out to get him. He always thinks he's the victim, always thinks others are out to get him. In reality, he just needs to use his brain for a second to realize that if I really wanted to expose him, I would have done so already and made sure everyone knew. Unfortunately, his brain can't think that far. This idiot's self-protection mechanism always makes him think he's right and everyone else is wrong. In reality, he's just afraid of facing the truth, afraid of admitting his own mistakes. This mindset will only make him more isolated, more passive. If he would just use his brain for a second, he'd realize that my goal in exposing him wasn't to target him, but to reveal the truth to everyone. Unfortunately, his brain can't think that far, and he'll just continue to cling to his idiotic self-protection mechanism, continuing to fear the truth. Everyone has their own choices. If he chooses to continue down this path, he'll only continue to isolate himself, continue to be passive. But if he's willing to wake up, willing to face the truth, then he might just change his fate and become a stronger person.
