Endurance and Wisdom in Marriage: How to Have a Better Relationship
Many people yearn for a perfect relationship in their marriage, but reality often falls short of ideals. So, how can we have a better marriage? It requires both parties to have some endurance and wisdom.
Firstly, we need to understand that marriage is a cooperative relationship, not a competition. The phrase 'whoever takes the first step loses' may sound cruel, but it reveals a harsh truth about marriage. We need to learn to see through things without saying anything, just knowing it in our hearts, and not always nitpicking every word and action of our partner.
Secondly, we need to learn to turn a blind eye and deaf ear, making everyone feel at ease. Nobody likes being monitored and controlled, and marriage needs some space and tacit understanding. Loyalty is the ideal state, but in reality, who doesn't have a little mischief? We need to know when to pretend to be oblivious, when to make concessions, and when to extend a hand.
Lastly, we need to befriend sincere people and deeply interact with upright individuals. In marriage, we need to find a common language and understanding, building a solid relationship. Only then can we have a better marriage.
