I think he's got it all wrong. If a guy gives a gift, why can't the girl take a photo and post it on social media? Is it assumed that she's only showing off the gift to attract other guys? Why does he think she's posting about the gift just to impress other guys, rather than to share her happiness with her loved ones? I think this kind of thinking is really weird. Can't we girls have our own social space? Can't we share our lives and happiness? It feels like a huge restriction and prejudice. Besides, isn't posting on social media a normal way to socialize? We can share our lives, our happiness, and our feelings. Why can't girls do the same? Do we have to hide our lives and not let others know about them? I think this kind of thinking is ridiculous. Can't we girls have our own autonomy? Can't we decide how to share our lives? It's just not fair.
