I never thought I'd be dragged into a situation like this by my best friend. Recently, she's been seeing someone in secret, and all I know is that she often calls me to tell me about her plans with her lover. Every time they're supposed to meet, she asks me to call her husband and tell him we're going shopping together. Her husband trusts me completely - we're high school classmates - and he's never suspected anything. The other day, my best friend told her husband that she was coming over to my place, but she wasn't actually there. When her husband called me to ask where she was, I panicked and told him she had just left my place. Her lover called me and asked me to tell her to hurry home. Today, she came over to my place with a nice bottle of wine and thanked me for covering for her, saying her husband almost found out. After she left, I took a closer look at the wine and thought it was quite expensive. I have no idea what my best friend is thinking, and her behavior is really confusing me. While I understand her desire for freedom and happiness, I'm also worried that her husband will find out the truth. As a friend, what should I do?
