The Misunderstanding on Our Wedding Night
I still remember that wedding night, my wife and I were lying in bed, she whispered to me with a blush on her face, 'Honey, there's a spot on my body that's really sensitive, if you touch it, I'll shudder all over and scream loudly. Be gentle tonight, okay?' I got instantly excited and confidently smiled, 'Don't worry, baby, tell me where it is?'
My wife hesitantly pointed to the outside of her right thigh, I gave a sly smile and slapped it hard. All of a sudden, my wife let out a loud cry and kicked me off the bed, 'Are you blind? I just got a big bruise today, and you still slapped it so hard!'
I was taken aback, it turned out my wife had a bruise, and I thought she was just joking. My wife was still fuming, but I knew she had already forgiven me.
That 'misunderstanding' made me realize that communication and understanding are crucial in marriage. We need to learn to listen to each other's needs and feelings, and avoid conflicts and hurt caused by misunderstandings.
