Seven Life Experiences That Signal You're Reaching Your Prime
The Seven Life Experiences that Will Help You Live a Better Life
The Seven Life Experiences that Will Help You Live a Better Life
First, trust your intuition. It's the guardian of your inner self. When you feel that someone is not being genuine, or when you sense that something is off, stop and listen. That's your intuition protecting you. If you ignore it and do something that goes against it, the consequences will be yours to bear.
Major decisions require a clear head, while minor ones can be approached with a more relaxed attitude. Intuition is the first signal your soul receives, and sometimes it's more reliable than your brain.
Second, your words are your life. The more venomous your words, the more bitter your life will be. This isn't an exaggeration; those who have experienced it know it's true. Don't repeatedly talk about your troubles or complain about your circumstances. Every time you do, you're essentially telling yourself: I'm pitiful, I need sympathy.
Unbeknownst to you, your body will start to respond to these negative suggestions. Your immune system will weaken, your functions will become disordered, and your energy will dwindle.
What you should do instead is tell yourself β and those around you β that you're doing great. Even if you're not feeling your best, keep saying it, and you'll eventually start to feel better. The world has its own frequencies, and when your thoughts resonate with positive ones, your life will start to shift towards the light.
Third, a person's appearance is a reflection of their heart, and this is true. A person's looks change every seven years; their complexion changes every seven days; and their aura changes every seven minutes. To look better, a good mood and attitude are key.
Flowers can be overwatered, and people can be suffocated by their own negativity. Most illnesses are related to negative emotions. The most important aspect of maintaining good health isn't about what you eat or drink, but about nurturing your mindset and emotions.
When you possess genuine confidence, a smile that comes from the heart, and a sense of refinement that's deeply ingrained, even the most ordinary appearance can shine through the years.
Fourth, good fortune that comes in middle age is the real deal. Looking at life as a whole, the good fortune that comes after the age of 40 is a blessing that's worth waiting for. Those who become wealthy at a young age often can't sustain it. But by middle age, you've experienced the ups and downs of life, and you've gained a clear understanding of the world and its ways.
When good fortune arrives at this stage, you'll be better equipped to handle it and keep it.
Fifth, you can have bad luck, but you can't have a bad appearance. In many cases, people will judge you based on how you look. Your image and abilities are two complementary curves β your image should precede your abilities. Otherwise, you might be underestimated. However, if your abilities are strong enough, this won't be an issue. Take Jack Ma, for example; even if he wears slippers every day, people still call him "Daddy Ma" out of respect.
Sixth, aside from good fortune, your mindset determines everything. If you've been experiencing a streak of bad luck in your career, relationships, social life, or family for three to five years, and nothing seems to be going right β excluding factors beyond your control β the problem likely lies in your mindset and behavior.
True enlightenment isn't about suddenly gaining a higher consciousness; it's about acknowledging and accepting that you were wrong.
For those who want to turn their lives around, the key isn't to find something that will change their circumstances, but to change themselves. Once you've made that change, you'll find that you can accomplish anything. If you don't know what you're doing wrong, you'll continue to make mistakes, no matter what you do. Only when you've reconstructed your mindset and behavior will your life's trajectory change.
Seventh, identify what you're lacking and work on it. If you lack confidence and motivation, try cooking and taking care of yourself β this is called nourishing your inner fire. If you're introverted and aloof, try nurturing plants and spending time in nature β this is called nourishing your inner wood. If you're physically and mentally exhausted, try gardening β this is called nourishing your inner earth. If you're indecisive and lack courage, try cutting your own hair and engaging in handicrafts β this is called nourishing your inner metal. If you're quick-tempered and have trouble focusing, try meditation and calligraphy β this is called nourishing your inner water.
Take a look at yourself and see what you need to work on.
As I finish writing this, I want to tell you one thing:
No one becomes successful overnight. All progress is the result of small, daily efforts. By trusting your intuition, watching your words, nurturing your emotions, dressing well, correcting your mindset, and working on your weaknesses, you'll be accumulating light and positivity. Every small step you take is a step towards a better you.
If you've read this far, it means you're yearning for a better version of yourself.
So start from today, from the one thing you can do. Time won't disappoint those who live their lives with purpose. As you move forward, the light will follow you.
