Gentleness is Not Compromise: My Understanding of the Dominant Female Persona
I've been thinking about a question lately: what is true gentleness? Is it just about compromising and giving in to others in a relationship? I don't think so. True gentleness should come from genuine emotions, not from superficial actions to please others.
I've seen people misunderstand the dominant female persona as being strong and overbearing, but that's not the case. The dominant female persona is about women maintaining their independence and autonomy in a relationship while also showing gentleness and care. This balance is hard to achieve, but once you do, it makes the relationship more harmonious and stable.
I'm saying this because I've experienced a similar relationship myself. My ex was a very strong-willed woman who always appeared tough, like she didn't care about anything. But as time went on, I discovered she was actually very vulnerable; she just didn't want to show it. This relationship was exhausting for me, as I always felt like she was suppressing her emotions.
Now, I've met someone completely different. She's a very gentle woman who always understands my feelings and needs. Her gentleness isn't because she's weak or dependent on me; it's because she's confident and secure. This relationship makes me feel comfortable and relaxed, as I know she's being her true self, not pretending to be someone else.
So, I think gentleness is not about compromise, but about true confidence and security. Only when we're confident and secure can we truly show our gentleness and care.
