My Struggle in the Workplace: Young, Lonely, and Searching for Support
I'm a 21-year-old girl from Jinhua, Zhejiang, and my story might be similar to that of many young people. Previously, I was doing a very physically demanding job that exhausted my body. Now, I can no longer take on jobs that are too labor-intensive. Looking back, that period was really tough. Every day, I faced immense work pressure, and my body and mind were under severe strain.
I also tried my hand at sales, but I found it hard to handle the high-pressure environment. The competition in the sales industry is extremely fierce, which can easily lead to anxiety and unhappiness. Gradually, I realized that my physical health was also starting to suffer. After my parents got divorced, I became even lonelier, with no one to turn to for support.
Recently, I met some younger friends who are also navigating the workplace. My advice to them is not to believe in promises of 'uniform payment next month.' Those are just lies. When you quit, you must ensure that you leave with a clean slate, or you might face even more trouble.
