Feminine Poverty and Debt: A Shocking Historical Similarity
History is always surprisingly similar! When we look back on Japan's economic downturn, the so-called 'female bubble' burst instantly, followed by a sharp decline in marriage rates and a large number of women being marginalized in the job market. This phenomenon sparked widespread discussion and reflection at the time.
In just a few years, Japan produced a book that exposed the reality of Japan, called 'The Poverty of Women'. This book profoundly revealed the situation of Japanese women in the economy and society, resonating with people and prompting introspection.
Now, when I take a look at the current situation in our country, I feel that it won't be long, maybe just a year or two, before a short video exposing the domestic situation appears, called 'The Debt of Women'. This feeling stems from my observation and reflection on the current social situation.
Women's poverty and debt are not just economic problems, but also social problems. They reflect the structural problems of our society and our attitude towards women. We need to think deeply about these issues and discuss them to find solutions.
