The Secret to Success Within the System: Hard Work or Something Else
Within the system, the level of success seems to be an eternal topic. Some people think that reaching a certain position relies on relationships and background; others believe it's about personal ability and hard work. I think everyone has their own views and experiences. So, what does it take to succeed within the system?
Personally, I believe hard work is the most critical factor. Whether in work or study, hard work is the foundation of success. Of course, relationships and background may also play a role, but without real ability and strength, relying solely on relationships is difficult to sustain in the long run. Think about it, if you can't complete work tasks or leave a good impression on your leaders, even with the best relationships, it's hard to get reused.
But at the same time, I've seen examples that seem to suggest some people don't need to work hard to succeed. They might have a good family background or a strong network, in short, they seem to get what they want without much effort. This phenomenon can be confusing and disappointing. Does it mean hard work is really useless?
I think this phenomenon might be because we see surface-level success but not the effort behind it. Perhaps those who seem not to need hard work actually put in a lot, just in different ways. Or maybe they really did rely on relationships and background to succeed, but that doesn't mean hard work is useless.
