The Meaning of Life is to Fill Every Grid with the Color You Desire
What is the meaning of life, after all? This is a question that everyone has probably thought about, but how many people have actually found the answer? From birth to death, we have an average of 30,000 days, equivalent to 83 years, or 996 months. If we draw a grid for every month of our lives, our entire life is just a table with 996 grids. Spread out, it's just a piece of A4 paper that can hold it all.
If you're 35, you've already filled in over 420 grids. You might still be busy with work, life, and the future, but have you ever stopped to think about how many grids your parents, your loved ones, have left? If your parents are 60 now, and you can only go back home to see them once a year, even if heaven blesses them, they have around 276 grids left, but the number of times you can really see them might be less than 23.
At this moment, you realize that the most precious thing in this world is not money, but the time left. The number 996 sounds like overtime, but in reality, it's more like the working hours that ordinary people can't quit. We're all working hard to make a living, but have we ever stopped to think about what money can really buy?
Since life's grids are limited, go love the people you want to love, do the things that truly make your heart beat faster, see the people you want to see, and look at the scenery you want to see. Don't bother with things you can't change, and don't waste time on people who don't matter. Fill every remaining grid with the color you want, and that's the real meaning of being alive.
Life is short, but we can make it more meaningful through our choices and actions. We can choose to love, to dream, to strive. We can choose to experience the beauty of the world, to feel the passion of life. The meaning of life is not about how long we live, but how we live.
