A Life of Drift: Family Pressures and Helplessness
I recently read a story about a girl from Wuhan that really tugged at my heartstrings. Her family has been struggling to make ends meet, and last year they even went without food. When she asked her mom for 4 yuan to buy some instant noodles, her mom just hung up the phone. This year, her dad borrowed 1,000 yuan from her, leaving her on edge. Luckily, he finally paid her back, or the consequences would have been disastrous.
Her story really resonated with me. If you don't love someone, don't get married. If you can't afford it, don't have kids. It seems like many people drift through life, leaving their loved ones to deal with the pressure and helplessness. They might not realize that their choices affect not only themselves, but also those around them.
I think this is a pretty common scenario. Many people might choose the wrong partner or have kids without thinking it through. As a result, family pressures and helplessness can snowball, becoming hard to stop once they start.
What I want to say is that life isn't a game. We need to carefully consider our choices. Don't let impulsive decisions or immature thinking drag yourself and your family into trouble. We need to think carefully and plan our lives, so that pressure and helplessness don't become our norm.
