Is It Comfort or Habit?
When rice becomes hard, you say it's not tasty. When the soles of your shoes are hard, you say your feet hurt. Why do you say it's comfortable when it comes to me? At first glance, this sentence seems quite sarcastic, but upon closer reflection, it's indeed worth our deep consideration. We often overlook our own feelings and acceptance when complaining about life's discontentments.
Beethoven once said that the faster the finger movements, the more beautiful the sound. This statement not only describes music but also profoundly reveals our attitude towards life. Speed, rhythm, comfort – these elements blend perfectly in music, yet we often neglect them in our lives.
We tend to confuse our acceptance of things with comfort. We get accustomed to a certain lifestyle, a particular feeling, and then tell ourselves that this is what comfort feels like. However, is the comfort behind this truly our satisfaction, or is it just because we've grown accustomed to it?
Perhaps we should re-examine our comfort zones. Not to change the world, but to change how we perceive it. For when we start to genuinely feel and experience every bit of reality in life, we'll discover that the things we once thought were comfortable were merely our habits.
