What We Only Understand After Adulthood: The Truth About Interpersonal Relationships
As we grow older, we gradually come to realize the complexity and diversity of interpersonal relationships. We're often told that having more friends is a good thing, but is that really true?
In reality, as we age, we find that we don't need that many friends, and we don't have the time to maintain so many relationships. Think about it - with your busy schedule, work, family, and social life, where's the time and energy to nurture those superficial relationships?
Ultimately, there are only two things that truly bring us happiness and freedom. First, having a solid financial foundation. A stable financial base is the guarantee of independence and freedom - without it, true freedom and independence are hard to achieve. Second, having a harmonious family relationship. Family is the foundation of our lives, and a harmonious family is the guarantee of our happiness.
Many people waste their time on meaningless interpersonal relationships. They try to fill the void in their hearts through socializing, but in reality, these relationships can't bring true happiness and fulfillment. On the contrary, they only bring more trouble and anxiety.
So, as adults, we should re-examine our lives and interpersonal relationships. We shouldn't waste time on meaningless relationships anymore, but focus on what's truly important: our financial foundation and family relationships. Only then can we achieve true happiness and freedom.
