Uncovering the Truth Behind the Factory's '5,000 Yuan Salary': Who's Deceiving Whom?
Recently, a friend complained to me that a certain factory was offering a salary of 5,000 yuan, but couldn't find anyone to hire. I found it quite strange, as according to labor laws, it's impossible for a factory to offer such a high salary. So, I decided to investigate and uncover the truth behind the factory's '5,000 yuan salary' claim.
Many people expect the 5,000 yuan to be as follows: working 8 hours a day, 22 days a month, with food and accommodation provided, and after deducting social insurance and housing fund, they would still take home 5,000 yuan. However, the factory's actual 5,000 yuan is a different story: the basic salary is only 2,200 yuan, with 12 hours of work per day, 30 days a month, and a total of 184 hours of overtime.
So, how does the factory calculate the salary? Basic salary 2,200 yuan + regular overtime pay 1,650 yuan + weekend double pay 1,400 yuan = 5,250 yuan. It seems that the factory is indeed offering a salary of over 5,000 yuan, but in reality, the factory deducts many fees.
The deducted fees include social insurance and housing fund 700 yuan, dormitory fees 100 yuan, air conditioning fees 100 yuan, water and electricity fees 100 yuan, meal fees 700 yuan, and late fines 50 yuan. After deducting these fees, the worker's take-home pay is only around 3,500 yuan.
This is the root cause of why the factory is shouting '5,000 yuan salary' but still can't find anyone to hire. The factory's advertisement and actual situation have a huge gap, causing workers to lose trust. The factory should honestly advertise the salary and working conditions, attract employees who are willing to work, rather than deceiving workers with false propaganda.
