The Art of Chatting: Relaxation and Emotional Transmission
I still remember the time when I would meet new friends on Soul every day. At first, I was thrilled to encounter so many interesting people. However, I later discovered an interesting phenomenon: when I chatted with a carefree attitude, the conversation would flow smoothly; but when I was particular about the outcome, I would become tense and even didn't know what to say. This phenomenon puzzled me, and I didn't understand why it was so.
Later, I realized that this was a form of emotional transmission. When chatting, the other person may not know what you're thinking, but they can sense your state. If you're worried about awkward silences or slow responses, the conversation will become stiff. Truly comfortable chats usually occur when both parties have no significant psychological burdens. Relaxation not only affects your own experience but also influences the entire atmosphere of the conversation.
I began to reflect on my own chatting style and found that when I was relaxed, I would express myself more naturally, and the conversation would flow more smoothly. On the other hand, when I was tense, I would become more cautious and even say things I didn't mean. This made me realize that the art of chatting is not just about exchanging information, but also about emotional transmission and resonance.
Now, when I meet new friends on Soul, I remind myself to relax and enjoy the chatting process. Don't worry too much about the outcome, and don't worry about awkward silences. The true art of chatting lies in the connection and resonance between two people.
