Sunday Meeting, Has the Boss Gone Crazy?
Sundays are usually a day off, and everyone had plans for the weekend. But then the boss suddenly announced a meeting for Sunday afternoon. To make matters worse, the meeting isn't even at a hotel in the city, but in a rural area 35 kilometers away. We'll all have to travel back and forth, and I have no idea what the point of this is.
Personally, I think the boss is being really inconsiderate. Who doesn't value their time? Does the boss not know we need to rest and spend time with our families? I think many colleagues share my feelings, and we're all wondering if the boss really doesn't get it.
The meeting location is in the countryside, and we'll all have to spend a lot of time on the road. Some colleagues might even have to prepare the day before and won't be able to rest properly. This not only affects our work efficiency but also our quality of life. Shouldn't the boss consider our feelings?
I have to ask, what's the point of the boss doing this? Is it to show off their authority? Or to boost work efficiency? I think the boss should reflect on their actions and consider our feelings and needs.
