The True Meaning of Success: Happiness is the Greatest Achievement
I don't want to make a lot of money, because I know my own worth, and I don't want to spend my whole life chasing after things that are out of reach. I just want to make each day a little happier, a little more relaxed. Society has given us too many labels: it's as if we need to buy a house, a good car, and make a lot of money to prove that we're successful.
But what does success really mean? In my opinion, success is happiness that comes from the heart. When someone can live life their own way, feeling carefree and happy every day, without being bound by societal standards, isn't that a kind of success?
I often see people around me busy and anxious, striving for what they think is success. They always feel like they're not good enough, that they need to work harder to reach someone else's standards. But have they ever stopped to think about what kind of life they really want?
I think many people are trapped by societal standards, always trying to meet others' expectations in order to be recognized. But true happiness and joy don't come from external recognition; they come from within.
So, isn't living life on our own terms the greatest success of all? We don't need a lot of money, or a fancy car, or a big house. As long as we can live each day happily and carefreely, that's enough.
