These girls are doing something wrong, this is a sentence I saw online recently, talking about a story of respect and politeness. The story goes like this, a group of girls saw an elderly man standing at the door, obviously he had something to take care of, but the girls didn't invite him in to sit down, they didn't even open the door. This made me think, why didn't the girls want to let the elderly man in? Is it because they were afraid of strangers? Or because they thought the elderly man's presence would disturb their lives? I think this behavior actually reveals a big problem in our modern society - we lack respect and politeness towards others. We often refuse to help others because of various reasons, or don't want to give help to others. But have we ever thought that helping others is also helping ourselves? When we lend a helping hand, we're not only helping others, but also improving our own moral level and personal charm. So next time when we encounter similar situations, let's think about this and try to be more understanding and respectful towards others.
