I once visited a female friend, expecting a casual gathering, but it turned out to be a rather unusual experience. Her best friend was present, and she suggested I wait while her friend stepped out for a bit. However, when I arrived downstairs, she suddenly changed her mind, saying it was too cold outside and her friend didn't need to leave. I found this a bit strange, but I didn't think much of it. I assumed she just didn't want me to be alone with her best friend. But afterwards, she walked me out alone and made me promise to only like her and not remember her best friend. This request made me feel strange and stimulated, as if I was being drawn into a complicated web of relationships. I began to wonder why my friend would make such a request. Was she genuinely concerned about me, or was she just testing my loyalty? Or maybe she just wanted to make me feel awkward and uncomfortable? I didn't dare to ask, but I knew that this experience gave me a deeper understanding of her and made me think more about interpersonal relationships. This experience taught me that there are often complex undercurrents and entanglements in relationships. We can't fully understand others' thoughts and feelings, but we can try to understand through our own feelings and observations. This experience also made me cherish sincere and open relationships even more, as relationships often become complicated due to our own complexity and dishonesty.
