An Unexpected Wi-Fi Adventure
Recently, my buddy Old Li finally bought a second-hand house in the city and invited me over for a housewarming party. Old Li's wife was cooking in the kitchen, while Old Li and I were chatting in the living room, sipping tea. As we chatted, I suddenly remembered I needed to connect to the Wi-Fi, so I pulled out my phone to ask for the password. But to my surprise, my phone had already connected to the network automatically, without even asking for a password.
I was taken aback for a moment, and then I quietly opened the network details to take a look at the familiar SSID. Old Li picked up his tea cup and asked me, 'What do you think of the house? It's a great deal, right? The original owner had just finished decorating and barely lived here, so I got it cheap.' I swallowed my saliva and replied, 'Yeah, it's a great deal. By the way, what was the original owner's surname?'
Old Li smiled and said, 'It's Li, same as mine.' I thought to myself, what a coincidence! So I casually asked, 'Are you related or something?' Old Li shook his head and said, 'No, I don't know him. The real estate agent said he was from out of town and had just finished decorating before moving away for work.'
I nodded and continued drinking my tea. Old Li suddenly asked me, 'Do you know the Wi-Fi password?' I was taken aback again and said, 'No, my phone just connected automatically.' Old Li smiled and said, 'I didn't set a password either, maybe it was left by the original owner.'
I suddenly remembered something and asked Old Li, 'Have you checked the stuff left behind by the original owner?' Old Li thought for a moment and said, 'No, I only checked the appliances and furniture.' I thought to myself, maybe there's a story here.
