I still remember a few years ago when I was doing business, I met two very beautiful women at a dinner party. They claimed to be engineers and said that if anyone had resources in that area, they could cooperate and make a fortune together. It sounded great, who wouldn't want to make money? At the time, I didn't think much of it and thought it might be a real business opportunity, so I introduced one of my leaders to them. We had dinner together and drank two bottles of Maotai. After the dinner, they gave me and my leader a gift each. When I got back and opened it, I found two bottles of Maotai and four packs of Zhonghua cigarettes. They were quite polite, at least it seemed like they wanted to build a good relationship with us. Last National Day, one of the women called me and said that there was an agricultural project in the county and they wanted to participate, asking me to help them get in touch with my leader. I didn't think much of it and just sent my leader a message, briefly explaining the situation. My leader replied, 'Got it.' I thought, it should be fine, my leader had agreed, after all. But after that, they never contacted me again, and I couldn't reach them by phone. Later, when I called my leader again and sent them a message, they didn't answer the phone or respond to the message... I suddenly felt like I had been cheated. Those so-called 'business opportunities' were just a facade, and their real purpose might have been to get in touch with our network or just to have some fun. Now that I think about it, it's quite funny. I was too naive back then and easily believed their sweet talk. In the future, I'll have to be more careful and not be deceived by beautiful faces and sweet words.
