The Price of a Busy Job: Back Pain and the Redemption of Deep Spa
Lately, I've been incredibly busy with work, spending long hours sitting at my desk, and my lower back has started to ache. It seems like this issue started after I had my child, and I recall the doctor telling me not to sit for long periods and to exercise my core muscles more.
It seems that prolonged sitting is indeed a major cause of back pain. Every day, I'm stuck in front of the computer, with little time to stand up and move around. Even on weekends, I rarely have time to hit the gym. As a result, my back muscles have started to atrophy, making the back pain even worse.
I suddenly thought, why not try a deep spa treatment to alleviate my back pain? I've heard that deep spa treatments can be great for relaxing the body and relieving muscle tension. Maybe this is just what I need.
I thought of a question, how can I communicate with the therapist to make sure she understands my needs? Perhaps I can start by telling her about my back pain and ask if she recommends any specific massage techniques to help alleviate it.
