A slave cannot affirm themselves directly, so they vilify the strong's advantages as 'evil' and package their own weaknesses as 'good'. This is a typical slave morality mindset, and its essence is resentment. Unable to defeat the strong, they invent a moral system: packaging failure as virtue and success as sin. Thus, the 'good person' is born. They are not truly kind, but rather package their inability to be strong as not wanting to be strong. This way of thinking still exists in today's workplace and emotional life. The 'good employee' who always silently works overtime, doesn't care about returns, and is grateful for being deceived by their leader, and the 'good man' who 'gives everything for you but you don't appreciate it' are all manifestations of this slave morality. Nietzsche said that Christianity is the pinnacle of slave morality. This statement may shock many people, but upon further reflection, we find that this slave morality mindset has indeed deeply influenced our culture and values. We need to re-examine our values and way of thinking, discard the slave-like resentment and hypocrisy, and truly become independent and self-reliant individuals.
