The Mysterious Allure of Private Messaging: The Difference Between Uptown and Downtown
I still remember when the private messaging feature was first updated. I was puzzled by the difference between 'priority' and 'hidden'. Why do we need to distinguish between uptown and downtown people even in private messaging? I think many people shared my confusion, finding this feature strange and even redundant. However, I recently discovered an interesting phenomenon - the 'priority' inbox is filled with high-quality messages, while the 'hidden' inbox is cluttered with dull greetings and incomprehensible messages.
I can only say that this distinction is brilliant! Although I have no idea how the developers define 'high-quality' and 'dull', from my personal experience, this feature is indeed useful. Valuable information is concentrated in the 'priority' inbox, while junk messages are automatically filtered into the 'hidden' inbox.
Of course, this feature has its limitations. Sometimes, I miss important messages because they are automatically categorized as 'hidden'. Or, I receive incomprehensible messages that I don't want to delete directly.
