On my way home from work today, I overheard a conversation between a mother and her son. They were walking in front of me, and I wasn't intending to eavesdrop, but the son's response to his mother's comment caught me off guard. I imagined the son would respond with something like agreement or curiosity about why his mother thought it was beautiful. But the son's response was unexpected. 'Okay, we'll bury you here when the time comes, and you can look at it every day,' he said. I almost choked on my laughter when I heard this. The response was hilarious, a perfect example of dark humor. The son's way of responding not only acknowledged his mother's comment but also showcased his sense of humor and imagination. I don't know if this mother-son duo often has humorous conversations like this, but from this exchange, I sensed the closeness and understanding between them. Even a simple conversation can reveal a lot about their relationship and personalities.
