The Embarrassment of VIP Line-Cutting: Why Are Beijing Men So Arrogant?
Recently, the news of Beijing men cutting in line as VIPs has blown up on the internet. As a local Beijinger, I have to say that this behavior really makes me feel embarrassed. Cutting in line as a VIP used to be a dream for our generation, but now it's become a behavior that's really annoying.
I want to ask everyone, before contacting me as a VIP, will you at least give me a like? As someone who claims to be a VIP, I think I should get more respect and attention. However, that's not the case. Many people don't even give me a like before contacting me. This behavior makes me feel really uncomfortable.
I know some people might say that cutting in line as a VIP is for convenience, to save time. But I think this behavior hides an arrogant attitude. They think they're VIPs, so they can do whatever they want. This attitude makes me feel really uncomfortable.
As a Beijinger, I think we should pay more attention to being polite and respectful. We should respect others, respect social order. Cutting in line as a VIP not only disrespects others, but also disrupts social order.
So, I hope that before contacting me, you can give me a like. Only then will I feel like you truly respect me.
