Why You Should Learn to Leave Some Leeway for Yourself After Earning Money
After earning money, many people habitually hand over all their finances to their wives to manage, which seems like a natural thing to do. However, a friend recently shared a lesson he learned the hard way, and his experience struck a chord with me.
He told me that when he was earning money, his wife was always by his side, relying on him for everything. But as soon as he lost his job, her attitude completely changed, and she even started questioning whether he still loved her.
My friend's experience made me think about a question: do our partners still love us the same way when we're not earning money? This isn't an easy question to answer, as everyone's situation is different. But one thing is certain: when we're not financially capable, our relationships face greater challenges.
So, after earning money, don't hand over everything to your wife. Learn to leave some leeway for yourself. This isn't about mistrusting your partner, but about having a sense of security and autonomy. When we have our own financial foundation, we can better handle life's challenges.
Of course, this doesn't mean we should hoard all our money and not give our wives any to spend. We need to find a balance point, satisfying our wives' material needs while leaving some security for ourselves. This requires communication and negotiation with our wives to find a solution that works for both parties.
