Why Do I Always Feel So Busy on Social Media?
Every time I find myself with a relatively empty inbox, I get excited thinking I can finally take a break and post less often. It's a wonderful feeling, like I've managed to catch my breath after a busy stretch of work. But this feeling never lasts long. Every time I wait for my posts to be published and then check my inbox again, it's flooded with new messages after just a day or two.
I often wonder, why do I always feel so busy on social media? Am I expecting too much from socializing? Or am I just not good at managing my time? Every time I try to reduce my posting frequency, I'm interrupted by new messages and notifications, as if my phone has become my second boss.
I know I'm not the only one who feels this way. Many friends have told me they feel the same pressure on social media. We're all trying to stay active, stay connected, and maintain a presence. But sometimes I really wonder, what drives us to work so hard to maintain our social image?
Maybe the answer is simple. We just want to be seen, heard, and remembered. We crave finding our own voice, our own space in a world full of noise. But sometimes I really wish we could just relax, post less, take some time off, and truly enjoy life.
