This is human nature. At a reunion with old classmates years ago, a young man ran into his middle school teacher. The teacher casually asked, 'Where are you working now?' The young man proudly replied, 'I work at Procter & Gamble!' The teacher looked at him in surprise and said, 'Your grades in middle school weren't bad, were they?' Then he turned around and started chatting enthusiastically with other classmates. But the teacher didn't know that this young man had struggled with all his might to get into this foreign company. He had put in several times more effort than others to get his current position. However, in the teacher's eyes, he was just a 'good student' from middle school, not a hardworking adult in the workplace. This kind of situation is very common in our lives. We always judge people's current achievements based on their past. We forget that everyone has their own struggles and growth process. We only see the surface-level success, but we ignore the hard work and dedication behind it. In fact, the complexity of human nature lies in this. We are easily blinded by surface-level things and easily defined by others' past. However, true success and growth often come from our inner efforts and persistence.
