The Jade in the Tian Shan Gallery: A Self-Drive Tour to Xinjiang's Kensiwat Reservoir
Today, I finally fulfilled my dream of taking a self-drive tour to Xinjiang's Kensiwat Reservoir. With the temperature at 32°C and the sun shining brightly, I drove along the S101 national highway, feeling the grandeur and beauty of nature. The Tian Shan mountains' snowmelt gathered to form a lake, with the emerald-green water calmly nestled among the layered Danxia mountains, resembling a piece of jade, quietly embedded in the Tian Shan gallery.
As I drove along the winding mountain road, I finally arrived at Kensiwat Reservoir, exhausted but exhilarated. The mountains were majestic, the water was long and winding, and the reflection on the lake's surface mirrored the surrounding peaks, like a natural oil painting. The mountains and rivers here were gentle, like a beautiful woman, quietly waiting for me to visit.
In this place, I felt a sense of serenity and tranquility that was hard to describe. Far from the hustle and bustle of the city, and close to the beauty and purity of nature, my soul was cleansed. Kensiwat Reservoir is truly a place worth visiting again and again.
