I'm a 22-year-old girl from Hangzhou, currently a senior at ECUP. Recently, a friend's experience has left me baffled. She's been in two relationships, both of which ended with her boyfriend cheating on her. What I don't get is, what's going through these young guys' minds? Why do they choose to cheat? I've heard many girls say they're open-minded and have had one-night stands, but from what I can see, my friend is one of the most attractive girls I've ever met. She has a sweet smile, a captivating figure, and a kind personality. So, I really don't understand why someone would want to give her up. I started thinking, is it because these young guys haven't found true love? Or are they just enjoying the thrill and novelty of it all? I believe cheating isn't just a betrayal of your partner, but also a betrayal of yourself. It brings harm, pain, and unnecessary complexity. I hope my friend finds true love and a man who truly loves and appreciates her. I also hope those young guys can reflect on their actions and find their true selves.
