I've often heard that it takes 20 years of athletics to develop true self-discipline. This notion has sparked deep reflection on my own lifestyle. As a young person, I always thought I had plenty of time and energy to pursue my goals, but when I finally took action, I realized my own laziness and procrastination.
I recall my childhood self, full of passion and dreams, but as I grew older, I became increasingly lazy. My friends would often ask me, 'Why are you so lazy?' I'd respond by saying I was just resting. But in reality, I was procrastinating. Procrastination cost me many opportunities and wasted a lot of time.
I've decided to change my lifestyle from now on. Every morning at 6 am, I'll wake up and do an hour of athletics. It was tough at first; my body wasn't used to waking up early and exercising, but I persisted. As time passed, I started to feel my body becoming stronger, and my spirit more uplifted.
