Recently, I tried my hand at a nightlife date, but ultimately gave up. I think I'm just not cut out for this kind of thing. After analyzing the reasons, I came up with a few key points. Firstly, I think I should have started by sending a 1000 yuan red envelope and then asking to meet up. This would have immediately grabbed the other person's attention and increased the chances of a successful date. However, I didn't do that, and instead tried to be more conservative, which ended up being ineffective. Secondly, my appearance isn't up to par. This is a pretty harsh reality, and I know I'm not particularly handsome, so in a place like a nightclub, my competitive edge is limited. Of course, this isn't the deciding factor, but it's still an important one. Thirdly, I'm just not good at playing the nightlife game. I thought that being genuine and sincere would set me apart from other guys, but it ended up having the opposite effect. From a practical standpoint, dating me should be the last priority. This feeling is really terrible. So, I've decided to put things on hold for now. Although I didn't spend much money, I did invest a significant amount of time and mental energy. The nightlife game is a complex world, and I need more experience and skills to navigate it.
