An Unexpected Encounter with a Frustrated Office Lady: Discussing Career, Education, Love, and Anxiety
The weekend was too boring, so I decided to have a drink and opened a hotel room on a whim, hoping to get lucky and meet someone. I opened a social app, chatted for 10 minutes, and she agreed to meet up that night. Before we met, she sent me a message asking if I wanted her to dress up as an office lady or a cute girl? I thought it was going to be a wild night, but it turned out to be a conversation about unemployment, AI, education, live streaming, economy, retirement funds, and why modern career women are getting increasingly anxious.
She is a professional woman who has been working in the education industry for many years, and her conversation reveals a hint of anxiety. We talked about the polarization of the live streaming industry and why some niche categories are still profitable. She thinks that the civil service exam, studying abroad, and skills training are all selling anxiety. In the era of AI, are teachers and those in the system still considered to have iron rice bowls? Will retirement funds be sustainable in the future? What are the differences between China and the US?
She shared her views on the anxiety of career women and how people with high sensitivity can overcome anxiety through methodology. Our conversation was thought-provoking and went deep. In the second half, we will talk about relationships and emotional topics, so stay tuned. This episode is not just a dating diary, but also an in-depth conversation that hopes to bring you new thoughts and inspiration.
